Overview
- Support business development efforts for Finance, Tax, and Restructuring practice groups within a leading law firm.
- Collaborate with attorneys and marketing teams to create impactful proposals and pitch materials.
- Assist in the development and execution of cross-practice initiatives and strategic planning efforts.
- Manage directories and rankings submissions, including Chambers USA and Legal 500.
- Maintain and update experience systems and databases with relevant metrics and content.
- Coordinate logistics for firm-produced events, sponsorships, and office activities.
- Provide feedback on coordinator performance and support lateral recruiting and integration efforts.
- Contribute to advancing omni-channel marketing strategies and tactics for assigned practices.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop proposal materials, RFP responses, and pitch content for practice groups.
- Collaborate with attorneys on client briefings, blogs, newsletters, and CLE presentations.
- Track BD expenses against budgets and correct misclassified expenses.
- Support scheduling and logistics for practice-wide meetings and events.
- Assist in planning and executing local office events and sponsorship activities.
- Maintain print collateral suite and electronic content in collaboration with marketing teams.
- Provide superior service to internal and external clients through effective communication and collaboration.
- Support development of ranking and directory submissions, including referee lists.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of business development or marketing experience in a law firm.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems is preferred.
- Experience with directories such as Chambers USA and Legal 500 is advantageous.
- Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication and editing skills with a proactive and confident approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels and provide superior service.
- Comfortable working on-site and within a commutable distance to the office.
