Overview

  • Seeking a tech-savvy Staff Accountant with 4+ years of experience in accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close processes.
  • The role involves hybrid work, with in-office days from Monday to Thursday and remote work on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage accounts payable processes, handling over 300 invoices monthly with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee accounts receivable tasks, including processing 30+ invoices monthly and monitoring collections.
  • Perform month-end close activities, including accruals, variance analysis, and compliance checks.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze data and generate reports for decision-making.
  • Adapt quickly to new accounting systems and technologies as required.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably with exposure to AP, AR, and month-end processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for managing high-volume transactions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for internal and external interactions.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn platforms quickly.
  • Availability to work hybrid hours, including in-office days Monday to Thursday and remote work on Fridays.
