Job Description

Overview

  • Prepare, scan, and index documents ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support laboratory operations by processing, routing, and storing specimens.
  • Work in a laboratory environment adhering to safety and compliance standards.
  • Utilize general laboratory equipment including computers and centrifuges.
  • Implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain quality control.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and task completion.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for laboratory processes.
  • Contribute to the overall safety and efficiency of laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and scan documents ensuring proper indexing and storage.
  • Process laboratory specimens following established protocols and procedures.
  • Operate laboratory equipment including telephones, computers, and centrifuges.
  • Recognize and address issues requiring corrective actions promptly.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory standards and quality control measures.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize laboratory workflows.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of laboratory activities.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills are essential.
  • Ability to operate general laboratory equipment effectively.
  • Experience in clinical laboratory, data entry, or production is preferred.
  • Previous training in specimen collection or processing is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety and compliance standards.
  • Ability to work night shifts from Monday to Friday.
