Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to the finance team by ensuring compliance with sales and revenue processes.
  • Perform reconciliations between POS and funds collected for retail sales.
  • Analyze discrepancies and collaborate with retail teams for resolutions.
  • Monitor cash management compliance and provide retail support.
  • Prepare monthly credit card fees and expense accruals for financial closing.
  • Assist with audits, compliance, and special projects as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures across financial operations.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to resolve system discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform daily account reconciliations for retail sales transactions.
  • Review concession settlement statements and reconcile sales with payments.
  • Monitor and dispute credit card chargeback claims with supporting documentation.
  • Process customer refund requests and coordinate payment execution.
  • Prepare and book monthly credit card fees and expense accruals.
  • Report monthly net sales for rent calculations and compliance.
  • Assist with audits, compliance, and special projects as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Retail Operations and Loss Prevention for internal controls.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Proficiency in SAP and retail POS systems is advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
