Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as the operational backbone for legal programs and outreach initiatives.
  • Blend legal support, administrative coordination, and program outreach responsibilities.
  • Work directly under the supervision of the Executive Director.
  • Support legal teams and coordinate community-focused pilot programs.
  • Ensure internal systems run efficiently and with precision.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at dismantling systemic inequities.
  • Collaborate with community partners and program participants.
  • Adapt to evolving responsibilities as new programs develop.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Maintain and update client records in case management systems.
  • Prepare and organize legal documents and correspondence.
  • Conduct client intake and coordinate communication efforts.
  • Monitor court dates and filing deadlines to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate outreach and enrollment for community programs.
  • Maintain accurate records for program reporting and compliance.
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director.
  • Manage digital filing systems and organizational platforms.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in legal support or administrative coordination.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to racial justice and economic equity principles.
  • Experience with legal case management software is preferred.
  • Familiarity with program outreach and participant tracking is advantageous.
