Job Description

Overview

  • Oversee monitoring and analysis of feeder and underlying fund performance across private market offerings, including private equity, private credit, and real assets.
  • Deliver investment updates to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and actionable insights.
  • Engage directly with fund managers to track macro developments and trends impacting fund performance.
  • Represent the organization at Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and other industry conferences.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on fund portfolio and performance for diverse audiences.
  • Prepare performance analytics and financial modeling at the fund level.
  • Collaborate with the Governance team to support secondary sales and investment oversight decisions.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead the monitoring and analysis of fund performance across private equity, private credit, and real asset offerings.
  • Prepare executive-level summaries, investment updates, and talking points for stakeholders.
  • Engage with fund managers to stay informed on macroeconomic trends and developments.
  • Represent the organization at AGMs and conferences, showcasing expertise in fund performance.
  • Develop performance analytics and financial models to support investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Governance team on secondary sales and oversight initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, enhancing their analytical and communication skills.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to organizational standards in all tasks.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance, economics, or related fields.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in private markets, investment banking, or asset management.
  • Progress toward or completion of CFA or CAIA certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and valuation methodologies.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Deep interest in alternative investments and working knowledge of private markets.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% as required by the role.
