Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage month-end close processes, including payroll, accounts receivable, and accruals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide actionable insights for organizational decision-making.
  • Reconcile general ledger and sub-ledger accounts, maintaining financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure adherence to accounting principles and standards.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial entries, ensuring data integrity.
  • Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax reports and returns in compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with auditors to address requests and ensure compliance with financial standards.
  • Leverage advanced Excel functions for comprehensive financial analysis and reporting tasks.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior or general ledger accounting roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and advanced Excel functionalities is essential.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to drive financial excellence.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to thrive in an on-site, high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Completion of an Excel assessment and preparatory questions is mandatory.
  • Reports directly to the Controller, offering significant hands-on responsibilities.
