Overview
- Lead pharmacy operations at a healthcare facility, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide interim leadership as Director of Pharmacy, overseeing medication management and inventory control processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and enhance medication safety protocols.
- Utilize advanced pharmacy systems for efficient order entry and inventory automation.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OIG, and facility-specific policies and procedures.
- Maintain professional standards and support the facility during a transitional leadership phase.
- Work on-site Monday-Friday with potential remote support on Saturdays as needed.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations and standards.
- Manage inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Operate and oversee pharmacy systems for order entry and automation processes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to address patient medication needs effectively.

Job Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active pharmacist license in good standing within the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmacy leadership roles.
- Proficiency in pharmacy systems for order entry and inventory automation preferred.
- Familiarity with healthcare pharmacy operations is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and medication verification processes.
- Ability to work on-site and provide remote support as required.
- Compliance with credentialing requirements, including background checks and competency assessments.
