Job Description
Overview
- Lead field operations for multifamily, mixed-use, and residential construction projects from groundbreaking to turnover.
- Work with an experienced project team and oversee a strong pipeline of developments.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and municipal agencies for seamless operations.
- Monitor quality control and enforce safety standards throughout construction phases.
- Coordinate punch list completion, inspections, and project closeout activities.
- Foster positive relationships with owners, consultants, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Lead daily site operations and ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
- Conduct regular subcontractor meetings and daily coordination activities.
- Enforce safety standards and maintain a culture of safety on-site.
- Monitor quality control throughout all phases of construction.
- Identify and proactively resolve field issues, schedule impacts, and conflicts.
- Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and progress updates.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial or multifamily construction.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and building systems.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
