Job Description

Overview

  • Lead field operations for multifamily, mixed-use, and residential construction projects from groundbreaking to turnover.
  • Work with an experienced project team and oversee a strong pipeline of developments.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and municipal agencies for seamless operations.
  • Monitor quality control and enforce safety standards throughout construction phases.
  • Coordinate punch list completion, inspections, and project closeout activities.
  • Foster positive relationships with owners, consultants, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager.
  • Lead daily site operations and ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Conduct regular subcontractor meetings and daily coordination activities.
  • Enforce safety standards and maintain a culture of safety on-site.
  • Monitor quality control throughout all phases of construction.
  • Identify and proactively resolve field issues, schedule impacts, and conflicts.
  • Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and progress updates.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications are a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial or multifamily construction.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and building systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
