Job Description

Overview

  • Manage LATAM grants program operations, ensuring compliance and efficient processes for funding requests and post-award management.
  • Support Global Medical Affairs initiatives, including advisory boards and strategic projects to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of global medical affairs activities.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to LATAM grant applicants, ensuring alignment with policies and compliance standards.
  • Monitor and track post-award reporting requirements, ensuring deliverables and outcomes are met.
  • Contribute to global reporting needs, including corporate transparency initiatives and ad hoc analyses.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the LATAM medical education and patient community landscape.
  • Coordinate logistics and documentation for cross-functional projects and advisory boards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead the lifecycle of LATAM grant funding, including intake, review, approval, and tracking processes.
  • Review grant applications for completeness, alignment, and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Coordinate grant review committees, preparing materials and documenting decisions.
  • Manage contract execution and payments in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Accounting.
  • Support planning and execution of Global Medical Affairs initiatives, including advisory boards and strategic projects.
  • Develop best practices to improve operational excellence within Global Medical Affairs.
  • Monitor post-award reporting requirements and ensure accurate documentation for LATAM grant activities.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful execution of global initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in grants management or related roles.
  • Fluency in Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese is required.
  • Proficiency in grants management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, and payment software like Oracle.
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating across matrix organizations and managing cross-functional initiatives.
