Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Overview

• Drive strategic decision-making by designing and implementing advanced business intelligence solutions that optimize organizational processes and enhance data-driven capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging analytics to improve operational efficiency and introduce innovative capabilities.
• Transform complex data sets into actionable insights using cutting-edge reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics techniques.
• Evaluate emerging AI and analytics technologies to enhance user experiences and accelerate solution development.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of BI product development, including requirements gathering, design, deployment, and maintenance.
• Research and recommend innovative BI tools and methodologies to enhance organizational performance and capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards in collaboration with relevant teams and stakeholders.
• Adhere to established SDLC methodologies and best practices to ensure quality and efficiency in analytics projects.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations to provide actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborate with teams to identify and implement data-driven process improvements aligned with organizational goals.
• Integrate AI capabilities to enhance development and user experience of BI solutions and tools.
• Prepare and transform complex data sets for reporting and advanced analytics applications, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Lead all phases of BI development, from requirements gathering to deployment and integration, ensuring project success.
• Evaluate and recommend new BI technologies and methodologies to improve organizational analytics capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and governance standards in collaboration with IT and relevant teams.
• Maintain adherence to SDLC methodologies and best practices to ensure quality and efficiency in analytics projects.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution is required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Python or R, and REST-based APIs is essential.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, semantic-layer design, and advanced SQL/T-SQL techniques.
• Familiarity with Azure AD authentication and row-level security implementation is preferred.
• Understanding of data governance, quality, and responsible data management practices.
• Ability to work independently and lead projects effectively in a hybrid work environment.
• Experience in the legal industry is preferred but not mandatory.
