Security Operations Analyst

Overview

• Play a pivotal role in safeguarding organizational assets and information through advanced security measures and proactive risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with leadership to align security operations with organizational objectives and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Analyze and prioritize vulnerability findings, coordinating with teams to implement necessary patches and updates.
• Deploy and maintain security tools, ensuring optimal functionality and integration within the organization's infrastructure.
• Monitor and improve adherence to security policies, contributing to enhanced security scores and compliance.
• Document and refine procedures for security assessments, regression testing, and disaster recovery planning.
• Collaborate with teams to align security capabilities with evolving organizational needs and industry standards.
• Manage access controls, optimizing identity and access management tools to ensure secure operations.
• Participate in security reviews and meetings, identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Provide technical support during the implementation of new security technologies and initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Security Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in operational security or related disciplines.
• Proficiency in vulnerability management tools, IT frameworks, and security technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address security challenges effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in project coordination and implementation within security operations.
• Commitment to ethical handling of sensitive information and confidentiality.
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, or CPP to demonstrate advanced expertise.
