Job Description

Overview

  • Lead financial operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure organizational excellence.
  • Serve as the CFO’s right hand, gaining comprehensive insight into the business and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Blend traditional accounting leadership with operational involvement across HR, payroll, IT, billing, and accounts payable.
  • Mentor and develop a team of 5–6 direct reports, fostering accountability and growth.
  • Drive timely and accurate financial reporting and monthly close processes.
  • Lead audits, regulatory filings, cost reports, and compliance efforts with precision.
  • Partner with the CFO on system upgrades, process improvements, and optimization initiatives.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and data integrity to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate daily with teams across operations, HR, clinical services, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.
  • Preferred 7 years of experience in similar leadership positions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop teams, fostering accountability and growth.
  • Experience with system upgrades, process improvements, and optimization initiatives.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for maintaining data integrity.
