Job Description

Overview

  • Lead financial operations for a dynamic private equity firm with $3B AUM.
  • Collaborate closely with the CFO to ensure accurate fund accounting and reporting.
  • Oversee fund administration, including compliance and financial management processes.
  • Drive operational efficiency and implement best practices in fund management.
  • Support strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards in fund operations.
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the firm’s industrial and infrastructure investments.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior finance team members.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage fund accounting processes, including preparation of financial statements and investor reports.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support investment strategies.
  • Monitor fund performance and analyze key metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Implement and refine internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure operational integrity.
  • Collaborate with investment teams to provide financial insights and support.
  • Oversee fund administration, including capital calls and distributions.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in fund accounting or financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of private equity fund operations and compliance.
  • Experience in both public and private accounting environments preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with senior leadership.
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days a week in a fast-paced environment.
  • CPA certification is not required but is a plus.
