Job Description
Overview
- Support HRIS operations for a temporary 6–9 month assignment, ensuring seamless functionality and data integrity.
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders to document business requirements and enhance system performance.
- Assist in implementing HRIS upgrades, including testing, configuration, and data conversion.
- Provide training and create job aids to support HRIS users and improve system utilization.
- Generate and present HR metrics and reports to management for informed decision-making.
- Support open enrollment activities and ensure accurate system preparation and tracking.
- Collaborate on system releases and monitor post-go-live corrections and updates.
- Maintain data integrity through audits and troubleshooting workflow issues.
- Contribute to the HRIS team’s objectives and support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Generate recurring and ad hoc reports, including payroll and turnover metrics.
- Support configuration, security administration, and maintenance for HRIS platforms.
- Assist in testing, go-live activities, and monitoring corrections for HRIS systems.
- Process approvals for new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations within HRIS.
- Collaborate on system updates and releases, ensuring smooth transitions and functionality.
- Support departmental objectives and key results (OKRs) through effective HRIS management.
- Provide user support and troubleshoot issues to maintain system efficiency.
- Contribute to data integrity audits and ensure compliance with HR policies.
- Assist in creating training materials and job aids for HRIS users.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, or related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience with HRIS system administration and reporting tools.
- Proficiency in Infor, UKG, iCIMS, or similar HRIS/ATS platforms preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills for presenting reports to management.
- Experience in auditing, SQL, and participating in system go-lives/UAT is a plus.
- Knowledge of open enrollment processes and HR metrics reporting.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional onsite presence.
