Job Description

Overview

  • Coordinate logistics activities for fleet operations, ensuring accurate records and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze and manage operational data using advanced Excel functions and reporting tools.
  • Support fleet-related projects, tracking timelines, deliverables, and communication between departments.
  • Assist with process improvements and documentation updates for logistics operations.
  • Provide administrative support, including purchasing, vendor coordination, and invoice tracking.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, drivers, vendors, and service providers to resolve logistics issues.
  • Ensure compliance with fleet management policies and procedures.
  • Work on-site to maintain organized records and files related to fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Support daily fleet operations, including vehicle tracking, scheduling, and maintenance coordination.
  • Maintain accurate fleet records, including inspections, service schedules, and registrations.
  • Create and analyze Excel spreadsheets to track fleet metrics and operational performance.
  • Prepare recurring reports and dashboards to support management decision-making.
  • Coordinate logistics and fleet-related projects, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Assist with resolving logistics issues and escalating concerns as needed.
  • Audit operational data for accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Provide general support to the logistics and operations team as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.
  • Experience with fleet management systems or transportation software preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.
