Job Description

Overview

  • Provide direct patient care, including phlebotomy, specimen collection, and diagnostic screenings, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to support clinical operations and patient management.
  • Administer medications and vaccines as per certification guidelines, maintaining compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records systems for seamless healthcare delivery.
  • Sterilize and clean medical equipment, ensuring examination rooms are prepared for patient visits.
  • Deliver patient care within defined parameters, utilizing discretion and independent judgment as needed.
  • Participate in the company’s Tuberculosis screening program as part of patient-facing responsibilities.
  • Engage in local travel as required, with mileage reimbursement provided for work-related travel.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform clinical tasks including vital signs measurement, diagnostic screenings, and specimen collection.
  • Administer medications and vaccines, adhering to certification and healthcare protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment for optimal patient experience.
  • Document patient interactions and clinical data in electronic medical records systems.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including Value-Based Care practices.
  • Utilize bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to enhance patient communication and care delivery.
  • Travel locally as required, ensuring compliance with organizational travel policies.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Arts degree or equivalent educational qualification required.
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with phlebotomy and primary care experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience, with 3+ years preferred for advanced proficiency.
  • CPR certification required, ensuring readiness for emergency situations.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred, enhancing patient communication.
  • Knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and Value-Based Care practices advantageous.
  • Ability to work on-site Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional local travel.
  • Commitment to patient-facing responsibilities, including participation in the Tuberculosis screening program.
