Overview

  • Lead tax planning initiatives for ultra-high-net-worth clients, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated wealth management strategies.
  • Collaborate with client advisors to deliver tailored financial planning solutions across diverse domains.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external advisors to enhance service offerings.
  • Provide mentorship and training to internal teams on tax concepts and best practices.
  • Create educational materials and presentations to support client and internal development.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, consistent planning advice across the organization.
  • Engage in strategic discussions to address complex financial and risk management matters.
  • Contribute to the firm's platform development and content curation efforts.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on complex tax and planning issues for client teams.
  • Collaborate with advisors to identify client needs and develop actionable strategies.
  • Review client materials to highlight key considerations and risks.
  • Participate in client meetings to provide senior-level planning expertise.
  • Manage relationships with external service providers and curate preferred advisor lists.
  • Develop internal training sessions and educational content for client advisors.
  • Monitor and communicate updates on tax laws and best practices to internal teams.
  • Support the firm's efforts in enhancing planning quality and consistency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in tax planning and wealth management.
  • Proven expertise in planning techniques for ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities to simplify complex topics.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Experience in mentoring and educating teams on financial concepts.
