Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage daily fund accounting operations, ensuring compliance with governing documents and industry standards.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting skill development and team success.
  • Review and approve fund deliverables, including financial statements and transaction reports.
  • Analyze complex private equity transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with senior management to address client needs and maintain high service standards.
  • Adapt to evolving industry practices and contribute to team success.
  • Maintain technical excellence in accounting practices and regulatory compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in private equity fund accounting; 7 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS reporting standards.
  • CPA certification is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with governing documents such as LPAs and advisory agreements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and lead accounting teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
