Job Description

Overview

  • Lead the Private Fund and CLO Operations team within a dynamic financial services group.
  • Oversee modeling and maintenance of CLOs and Private Funds, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with traders, client service teams, custodians, fund administrators, and legal counsel.
  • Develop bank loan industry knowledge while contributing to team initiatives and objectives.
  • Utilize proprietary models for pre-trade testing and trade approvals in front office systems.
  • Provide detailed reporting and analysis to portfolio managers and trade desks.
  • Ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance with structured product regulations.
  • Work in a hybrid environment combining on-site and remote collaboration.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and maintain CLO models for compliance testing and trade approvals.
  • Analyze trustee payment reports and provide financial oversight for fund operations.
  • Prepare weekly KPI snapshots and quarterly distribution analyses for stakeholders.
  • Assist with due diligence, audits, and revenue analysis through data collection and reporting.
  • Manage borrowing base files and oversee leverage facility transactions.
  • Compile vendor payments and tax IDs for annual tax reporting requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain covenants for CLOs and leverage facilities.
  • Calculate and validate waterfall calculations for Risk Retention vehicles.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree and 5+ years of CLO reporting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational knowledge of bank debt and fixed income securities.
  • Experience with Wall Street Office, Aladdin, and Bloomberg platforms preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills for managing interconnected data and designing efficient processes.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate legal documents such as Indentures and Credit Agreements.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to achieving objectives.
