Job Description
Overview
- Lead the Private Fund and CLO Operations team within a dynamic financial services group.
- Oversee modeling and maintenance of CLOs and Private Funds, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with traders, client service teams, custodians, fund administrators, and legal counsel.
- Develop bank loan industry knowledge while contributing to team initiatives and objectives.
- Utilize proprietary models for pre-trade testing and trade approvals in front office systems.
- Provide detailed reporting and analysis to portfolio managers and trade desks.
- Ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance with structured product regulations.
- Work in a hybrid environment combining on-site and remote collaboration.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and maintain CLO models for compliance testing and trade approvals.
- Analyze trustee payment reports and provide financial oversight for fund operations.
- Prepare weekly KPI snapshots and quarterly distribution analyses for stakeholders.
- Assist with due diligence, audits, and revenue analysis through data collection and reporting.
- Manage borrowing base files and oversee leverage facility transactions.
- Compile vendor payments and tax IDs for annual tax reporting requirements.
- Monitor and maintain covenants for CLOs and leverage facilities.
- Calculate and validate waterfall calculations for Risk Retention vehicles.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree and 5+ years of CLO reporting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational knowledge of bank debt and fixed income securities.
- Experience with Wall Street Office, Aladdin, and Bloomberg platforms preferred.
- Strong analytical skills for managing interconnected data and designing efficient processes.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate legal documents such as Indentures and Credit Agreements.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
