Overview

• Lead operations of a 32-bed ICU, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with clinical standards.
• Develop and implement departmental goals aligned with organizational objectives and ethical practices.

• Oversee staffing activities, including hiring, training, and professional development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Direct and evaluate ICU operations, including patient care, technology, and service levels.
• Manage staffing activities such as recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement departmental goals aligned with clinical and ethical standards.
• Monitor and analyze ICU metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with financial requirements and manage departmental budgets effectively.
• Promote evidence-based practices and professional growth within the ICU team.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to enhance ICU operations and patient satisfaction.
• Drive initiatives to expand cardiac service offerings and improve community healthcare.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience, preferably in ICU settings.
• Active NM RN License or compact license with NM license obtained post-start.
• Proven ability to relocate within 30-45 days if required.
• Strong knowledge of ICU operations, patient care standards, and evidence-based practices.
• Experience managing budgets and ensuring compliance with financial requirements.
• Excellent leadership skills with a focus on professional growth and team development.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with hospital leadership and drive operational improvements.
