Overview

  • Lead operations of a 32-bed ICU, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with clinical standards.
  • Develop and implement departmental goals aligned with organizational objectives and ethical practices.
  • Promote professional growth and integrate evidence-based practices within the ICU team.
  • Oversee staffing activities, including hiring, training, and professional development initiatives.
  • Monitor ICU metrics to drive continuous improvement and expand cardiac service offerings.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with financial and audit requirements, managing departmental budgets effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage staffing activities such as recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience, preferably in ICU settings.
  • Active NM RN License or compact license with NM license obtained post-start.
  • Proven ability to relocate within 30-45 days if required.
  • Strong knowledge of ICU operations, patient care standards, and evidence-based practices.
  • Experience managing budgets and ensuring compliance with financial requirements.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on professional growth and team development.
