Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage fund accounting processes, including capital calls, distributions, NAV, and carried interest.
- Oversee limited partner onboarding, ensuring compliance with KYC/AML and accreditation standards.
- Lead annual audit and tax cycles, coordinating efforts with external auditors and advisors.
- Supervise treasury and cash management across multiple investment vehicles.
- Develop and implement financial controls and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Partner with founders on fund economics and strategic financial initiatives.
- Bring finance and operations functions in-house, setting high operational standards.
- Mentor and develop the finance and operations team, fostering professional growth.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
- Minimum of 10 years of finance experience, with leadership roles in investment firms or fund administration.
- Proficiency in fund finance, including capital calls, NAV, and GAAP financials (ASC 946).
- Experience managing audits, tax cycles, and compliance processes effectively.
- Strong judgment and ability to operate autonomously in fast-paced environments.
- CPA certification strongly preferred for enhanced financial expertise.
