Job Description

Overview

  • Support the Banking Operations Department during an extended leave period, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality service delivery.
  • Perform critical deposit account review, processing, and reporting tasks using industry-standard software and tools.
  • Monitor and manage branch operations helpdesk tickets, providing timely resolutions and updates.
  • Conduct maintenance on customer and deposit account records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with department managers to complete various operational projects and duties.
  • Ensure proper reporting and monitoring of daily system and exception reports.
  • Provide professional support to retail banking staff, enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Review and process customer and deposit account maintenance requests efficiently and accurately.
  • Analyze and manage unposted deposit system transactions, ensuring compliance with banking standards.
  • Monitor and approve foreign currency exchange transactions and daily deposit rate changes.
  • Prepare detailed monthly board reports on department activities and metrics.
  • Review mobile deposit exceptions and collaborate with the eBanking department for resolution.
  • Maintain high standards of communication with retail banking staff, ensuring operational clarity.
  • Assist managers in executing projects and addressing operational challenges effectively.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving operational processes and systems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, preferably in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail branch or deposit operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of banking industry products, services, and operational practices.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet processing deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work standard business hours with potential overtime availability.
