Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct comprehensive laboratory tests across various clinical sections to support diagnostic processes and patient care.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Analyze patient specimens with precision to provide actionable data for medical decisions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret laboratory findings effectively and support patient outcomes.
• Document and report laboratory results in compliance with established standards and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance measures to maintain a secure laboratory environment.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field is required.
• ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) is mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant laboratory experience; 5 years preferred.
• Proficiency with EPIC, Vitros, Unity, and WellSky systems is advantageous.
• Specialty certifications through ASCP are highly desirable for advanced roles.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus for patient communication.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for accurate diagnostics.
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required by the position.
