Overview
- Lead clinical operations at a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center with a focus on orthopedic and pain management procedures.
- Oversee a team of approximately 10 clinical staff members in a hands-on leadership capacity.
- Drive quality improvement, infection prevention, risk management, and staff education initiatives within the facility.
- Ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance while fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Support surgical workflows and emergency response situations in alignment with physician directives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide clinical and administrative oversight for a two-operating-room ambulatory surgery center.
- Lead nursing care delivery in alignment with facility policies and physician directives.
- Manage quality improvement programs, infection control measures, and risk management initiatives.
- Develop and implement staff education and competency programs to enhance team performance.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and scope of practice guidelines.
- Promote operational efficiency and clear communication across clinical and administrative departments.
- Support routine surgical workflows and respond effectively to emergency situations.
- Foster a team-oriented culture that prioritizes patient care and staff collaboration.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution is required.
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
- Minimum three years of experience in an outpatient surgical setting, preferably in an ASC.
- Prior experience as an OR Manager or Supervisor is mandatory.
- Strong background in Pre-Op, PACU, and Circulating roles within surgical care.
- Experience in orthopedic and pain management procedures is highly preferred.
- Advanced OR certification or technical training is advantageous.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
