Job Description

Overview

  • Provide short-term payroll coverage for a hybrid position during a one-month period.
  • Manage payroll for 220-230 employees using UKG software, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team for support and cross-training opportunities.
  • Handle semimonthly and biweekly payroll runs during the coverage period.
  • Start immediately to ensure smooth transition and cross-training with the current payroll personnel.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, combining remote and onsite responsibilities.
  • Contribute to maintaining payroll accuracy and compliance during the coverage period.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process payroll runs for semimonthly and biweekly schedules accurately and on time.
  • Utilize UKG software to manage employee payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure payroll compliance and accuracy.
  • Cross-train with the current payroll personnel before their leave to ensure seamless operations.
  • Address employee payroll inquiries and provide timely resolutions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of payroll data and processes.
  • Adapt to hybrid work arrangements, balancing remote and onsite responsibilities effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, preferably in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in UKG payroll software is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage payroll for a workforce of 220-230 employees.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills for cross-training and collaboration.
  • Availability for immediate start and hybrid work arrangement.
