Job Description

Overview

  • Lead and oversee operations for multiple ambulatory surgery facilities, ensuring compliance and sustainable performance.
  • Drive quality initiatives, infection control, and patient experience improvements across facilities.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, governing boards, and leadership teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Develop and manage budgets, addressing financial risks and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Support physician partnerships, credentialing processes, and service line growth opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards.
  • Provide strategic direction and operational reviews in collaboration with corporate offices.
  • Oversee vendor, service, and physician contracts to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Lead workforce planning, performance management, and development initiatives for facility teams.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide operational and financial oversight for multiple ambulatory surgery facilities.
  • Lead day-to-day facility operations in partnership with administrators and medical staff.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards.
  • Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets effectively.
  • Monitor financial performance and address operational risks proactively.
  • Support physician partnerships, credentialing processes, and medical staff relations.
  • Lead and develop facility leadership teams, overseeing workforce planning and performance management.
  • Support quality improvement, infection control, and patient experience initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for service line growth and operational improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare administration, preferably in ambulatory surgery centers.
  • Preferred 7 years of experience in surgical leadership or ASC management.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and financial performance effectively.
  • Experience in workforce planning, performance management, and team development.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with medical staff and governing boards.
  • Ability to identify and implement service line growth opportunities.
  • Occasional travel may be required for operational reviews and strategic initiatives.
