Overview
- Support ultra-high net worth individuals and families with tax planning, compliance, and projects.
- Prepare tax returns and related work papers adhering to department standards.
- Assist in filing tax forms, disbursements, and tracking assignment statuses.
- Research tax issues and provide accurate deliverables to senior team members.
- Engage in consulting projects and stay updated on tax law changes.
- Leverage continuing education opportunities to enhance tax expertise.
- Collaborate effectively in both remote and in-office environments.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare individual, gift, and entity tax returns, including moderate to complex cases.
- Develop quarterly and annual income tax projections and related forms.
- Assist with consulting projects and contribute to tax-related research.
- Stay informed on tax law changes and apply knowledge to client deliverables.
- Utilize tax software programs and BNA Income Tax Planner effectively.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients in hybrid work settings.
- Ensure meticulous attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; CPA, MBA, MST, CFP, JD, or PFS preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and tax software programs.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High integrity, strong work ethic, and willingness to work extra hours.
- Flexible, reliable, and eager to learn and adapt.
