Job Description

Overview

  • Lead multifamily construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and contractors to achieve project objectives efficiently.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and contracts for complex multifamily developments, ensuring financial and operational goals are met.
  • Provide strategic leadership to project teams, fostering collaboration and innovative problem-solving approaches.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements throughout project lifecycles.
  • Utilize advanced project management tools to streamline processes and maintain accurate reporting.
  • Contribute to preconstruction activities, including estimating, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in construction practices and project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate multifamily construction projects, including garden-style, podium, and mid/high-rise developments.
  • Manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor agreements to achieve financial and operational goals.
  • Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and address risks, challenges, and opportunities proactively to mitigate impacts.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on project progress, financials, and forecasting to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with preconstruction teams on estimating, constructability assessments, and planning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, and architects to ensure project success.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial construction project management, focusing on multifamily developments.
  • Proven ability to manage projects exceeding $20M in value successfully.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and cost control methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Preferred certifications include PMP or equivalent project management credentials.
