Job Description

Overview

  • Support operational tasks for public securities products in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Manage trade lifecycle processes, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with fund administrators and service providers to ensure seamless trade execution.
  • Resolve cash and position exceptions, ensuring accurate records and timely issue resolution.
  • Utilize advanced tools to automate workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Engage in operational projects, providing insightful reporting and management support.
  • Handle corporate actions and proxy voting processes with precision and compliance.
  • Maintain proactive efforts to improve processes and implement automation strategies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Execute post-trade lifecycle operations, ensuring accurate trade capture and settlement.
  • Collaborate with fund administrators to ensure timely and accurate trade instructions.
  • Resolve daily reconciliation exceptions, maintaining operational accuracy and efficiency.
  • Leverage AI tools for anomaly detection and workflow optimization.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to address operational challenges.
  • Manage corporate actions and proxy voting processes, ensuring compliance and precision.
  • Contribute to operational projects and assist in management reporting tasks.
  • Maintain security masters and accurately record daily trading activity.
  • Identify and resolve settlement breaks, escalating issues when necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field required; advanced knowledge preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in operations or related roles, with strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg; familiarity with AI tools is advantageous.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills in dynamic environments.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with problem-solving abilities.
  • Assertive and motivated personality, capable of grasping detailed concepts quickly.
  • Knowledge of public securities products, including bonds, equities, and options.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
