Overview
- Serve as Principal Investigator for dermatology-focused clinical trials, ensuring compliance with ICH/FDA/GCP guidelines and local regulations.
- Coordinate and oversee daily clinical trial activities, ensuring participant safety and protocol adherence.
- Collaborate with local and central teams to drive clinical oversight and study quality.
- Evaluate and assess participants to ensure eligibility and successful enrollment.
- Engage in participant retention strategies and ensure ethical trial execution.
- Participate in protocol training for staff and investigator meetings.
- Maintain current knowledge of recruitment affairs and regulatory updates.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support trial success and participant care.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Ensure participant safety and ethical execution of clinical trials adhering to FDA, ICH, NIH, GCPs, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Provide leadership to enhance site efficiencies, patient safety, and compliance with protocols and regulations.
- Evaluate participants for eligibility and oversee successful enrollment processes.
- Collaborate with sponsors, clients, and team members for positive trial outcomes.
- Ensure accurate data recording and adherence to protocol guidelines.
- Conduct protocol training for staff and participate in investigator meetings.
- Maintain updated knowledge of recruitment and regulatory affairs.
- Handle additional tasks as required to support trial and participant needs.
Job Requirements
- Doctoral degree (MD or DO) with active physician license in the state of practice.
- Board certification in Dermatology is mandatory for this role.
- Proficiency in clinical procedures and computer applications, including MS Office and electronic health records.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required; 4 years preferred.
