Overview

  • Lead financial operations in a dynamic healthcare organization backed by private equity.
  • Collaborate directly with the CFO to drive strategic financial initiatives and growth.
  • Oversee accounting processes, compliance, and financial reporting across multiple entities.
  • Manage and optimize NetSuite ERP systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and mentor a distributed accounting team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Contribute to M&A activities, supporting integration and financial due diligence.
  • Implement automation and AI-driven solutions to streamline financial workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state tax regulations and healthcare industry standards.
  • Participate in strategic planning to support rapid organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and oversee financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes for accurate reporting.
  • Lead NetSuite ERP optimization and integration projects across departments.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations relevant to healthcare.
  • Design and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy.
  • Oversee tax compliance and planning, managing external advisors effectively.
  • Mentor and develop a distributed accounting team to enhance performance.
  • Support M&A activities, including financial integration and due diligence.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Active CPA license with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite ERP systems and healthcare accounting practices.
  • Experience with multi-state tax compliance and M&A environments preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with a process-oriented mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and mentor distributed teams across time zones effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for translating financial data to stakeholders.
  • Commitment to high integrity and alignment with mission-driven work.
  • Experience in automation tools and financial system optimization preferred.
