Overview

  • Lead financial operations for a prominent credit fund, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in reporting and management.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic financial initiatives and policies.
  • Oversee fund accounting, including NAV calculations, performance estimates, and investor communications.
  • Drive operational improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including SEC filings and audits.
  • Engage with auditors, tax professionals, and fund administrators to support year-end reporting.
  • Analyze portfolio data to perform compliance tests and support decision-making processes.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and investor relations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage accounting and financial reporting for credit funds, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee fund administrator activities, including audits, reporting, and investor communications.
  • Prepare and review NAV calculations, fund returns, and performance estimates.
  • Ensure compliance with fund credit facilities, portfolio agreements, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with auditors and tax professionals to ensure accurate filings and reporting.
  • Develop and implement operational policies to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Analyze financial data to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Respond to investor inquiries, providing detailed financial insights and updates.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in fund management.
  • Strong knowledge of fund accounting, financial reporting, and credit-related products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance, including SEC reporting requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
