Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage daily operations of the oncology pharmacy, ensuring seamless delivery of clinical and operational services.
- Implement and oversee advanced clinical pharmacy programs to promote medication safety and therapeutic efficacy.
- Supervise and develop pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to support the development and enhancement of oncology pharmacy services.
- Optimize drug acquisition and utilization processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with 340B programs.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and maintain the integrity of pharmacy information systems.
- Participate in organizational committees to align pharmacy operations with broader healthcare objectives.
- Maintain a commitment to standardized work processes and exceptional customer service standards.
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree is required for this role.
- A minimum of 6 years of pharmacy experience is required; 8 years is preferred.
- Prior leadership experience in pharmacy operations, particularly in oncology, is highly desirable.
- Active RPH license in the state of employment is mandatory.
- Experience with Epic Beacon and 340B programs is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in outpatient oncology pharmacy operations and drug acquisition processes.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills for effective multidisciplinary team interactions.
- Proven ability to lead and adapt in a fast-paced and evolving healthcare environment.
