Overview

  • Lead financial strategy and operations for a dynamic organization, ensuring fiscal health and long-term sustainability.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support informed decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Provide strategic advice on equity, debt structures, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard organizational assets.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence within the finance team.
  • Support shareholder and executive committee needs with tailored financial insights.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Set and monitor profitability targets, analyzing practice area performance and advising on pricing strategies.
  • Oversee billing cycles, collections, accounts receivable, and shareholder distributions.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to executive leadership and committees.
  • Build annual budgets, monitor overhead, and identify inefficiencies in ROI.
  • Manage cash flow, lines of credit, and capital structure while ensuring compliance.
  • Evaluate financial implications of long-term planning and organizational growth.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
  • Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with financial covenants.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience, preferably 20 years, in financial leadership roles.
  • CPA certification preferred; proficiency in Aderant or Elite software highly desirable.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate with executive teams.
  • Proven ability to manage financial operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
