Overview

  • Lead financial operations for investment vehicles within a dynamic investment firm, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial processes.
  • Collaborate with a high-performing team to manage portfolio reporting and investor allocations effectively.
  • Oversee month-end financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Support strategic initiatives and special projects to drive organizational growth and innovation.
  • Maintain cash management processes and optimize expense allocation across multiple entities.
  • Provide critical insights through performance attribution analysis for portfolio management teams.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and analyze daily portfolio reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in investor allocations.
  • Calculate and review management fees and incentive allocations for investment vehicles.
  • Manage month-end close processes, including the preparation of financial statements and investor reports.
  • Oversee annual audits, ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Optimize cash management and expense allocation strategies across various entities.
  • Develop detailed performance attribution reports to support portfolio management decisions.
  • Provide backup support for management company controller responsibilities as needed.
  • Engage in strategic projects and assignments to enhance operational efficiency and innovation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA designation strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment company accounting or auditing, with a preference for 15 years.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of making sound judgments under pressure.
