Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and analyze daily portfolio reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in investor allocations.
- Calculate and review management fees and incentive allocations for investment vehicles.
- Manage month-end close processes, including the preparation of financial statements and investor reports.
- Oversee annual audits, ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Optimize cash management and expense allocation strategies across various entities.
- Develop detailed performance attribution reports to support portfolio management decisions.
- Provide backup support for management company controller responsibilities as needed.
- Engage in strategic projects and assignments to enhance operational efficiency and innovation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA designation strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment company accounting or auditing, with a preference for 15 years.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
