Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to a dynamic Middle Office Operations team in a hybrid work environment.
  • Ensure accurate fund positions and cash balances through meticulous oversight and reconciliation.
  • Manage the lifecycle of trades and investments across diverse financial products.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Perform detailed performance metric analysis and reporting for front office teams.
  • Support liquidity management and deal execution with budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Engage with managed service providers to ensure seamless operational support.
  • Contribute to corporate action processes and maintain leverage facilities within systems.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform daily cash and position reconciliations against prime brokers and custodians.
  • Oversee loan administration processes, including tracking contracts and payments.
  • Investigate and resolve transactional or accrual discrepancies effectively.
  • Provide operational support for trade lifecycle across multiple financial products.
  • Manage corporate actions and amendments, ensuring accurate documentation and booking.
  • Assist with CLO monthly reconciliations and cash tie-outs with collateral agents.
  • Support liquidity management and deal execution through financial analysis.
  • Maintain leverage facilities and oversee interest payments, drawdowns, and repayments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • 5-6 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in operations.
  • Strong understanding of fixed income or bank loan products.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook, with experience in financial systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of Security Master, IVP products, FIS VPM, or Aladdin is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with S&P ClearPar and loan platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
