Job Description

Overview

  • Manage the full sales cycle within an assigned territory, including prospecting, closing, and account management.
  • Engage with customers through regular account reviews and on-site visits to build strong relationships.
  • Present and demonstrate products and services, showcasing their value and benefits effectively.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership on strategic opportunities and competitive negotiations.
  • Utilize CRM systems like Salesforce to maintain accurate pipeline, activities, and forecasting.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, seminars, and industry events to promote offerings.
  • Develop and deliver proposals using standard company tools and templates for customer presentations.
  • Provide annual account forecasts and capital expenditure insights for key customers.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Proactively generate new business through outreach, marketing leads, and networking activities.
  • Host customer visits, demonstrations, and regional events to foster engagement and growth.
  • Ensure timely documentation of sales activities, deal summaries, and expense reporting.
  • Communicate product updates and solutions to customers to enhance satisfaction and retention.
  • Support post-sale transitions to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term success.
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, events, and lead follow-up for effective outreach.
  • Travel extensively within the territory to support customer engagement and on-site visits.
  • Develop and deliver proposals using standard company tools and templates for customer presentations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, with 6 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, with Salesforce experience being highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment and adapt to fast-paced changes.
  • Background in the stone industry and/or robotics systems is preferred.
  • Motivated and personable, with the ability to influence and create compelling lines of reasoning.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory for customer engagement.
