Job Description
Overview
- Engage in telephonic sales to enroll Medicare members into plans, ensuring compliance with CMS regulations and state guidelines.
- Educate prospective members on Medicare products, benefits, rules, and enrollment procedures in a clear and compliant manner.
- Work remotely during East Coast hours, offering flexibility and potential for temp-to-perm opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address member concerns and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of member interactions, enrollment activities, and follow-up actions in departmental systems.
- Stay updated on Medicare products, benefits, promotional campaigns, and compliance standards.
- Support a positive customer experience through professionalism, empathy, and timely follow-through.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct telephonic sales presentations and enrollments in compliance with CMS requirements and internal standards.
- Assess customer needs and recommend suitable Medicare plan options based on eligibility and coverage requirements.
- Document all member interactions and enrollment activities accurately in required systems.
- Maintain current knowledge of Medicare products, CMS regulations, and compliant sales practices.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and operational teams to improve processes and address member concerns.
- Meet established productivity, quality, compliance, and customer service expectations.
- Perform other duties and special projects as directed or required.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Current Health Insurance license required; NY appointment must be obtained within 30 days of offer.
- 2–3+ years of sales, telesales, call center, or customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or Medicare.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CRM platforms or enrollment tools.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to manage a high volume of calls while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are preferred but not required.
