Senior Cloud Operations Engineer

Overview

• Design, implement, and manage secure and scalable cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to ensure operational excellence and compliance.
• Focus on automation, cost optimization, and resilient recovery strategies for cloud environments.
• Enable rapid and reliable delivery through Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support identity management and security hardening using Azure Entra ID and Okta integration.
• Contribute to the design of cloud-native applications and enterprise integrations.
• Ensure high availability and fault tolerance across critical systems and services.
• Participate in cost management and optimization initiatives for Azure spending.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Administer and optimize Azure environments across IaaS and PaaS services.
• Monitor system health and performance using Azure-native tools.
• Collaborate with application teams to design cloud-native solutions.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Integrate and manage identity across Azure Entra ID and Okta.
• Enforce security-first architecture aligned with Zero Trust principles.
• Design and maintain highly available systems across regions and zones.
• Support AI solution deployment and operationalization within Azure.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
• 4–7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud administration.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation using PowerShell or Python.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, and VPNs.
• Azure certifications such as Administrator or Security Engineer preferred.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and regulated environments.
• Strong analytical skills and a focus on automation and efficiency.
