Overview
- Lead enterprise data architecture design for a trusted single source of truth in asset management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data standards and integrate enterprise data sources.
- Implement scalable analytics and reporting capabilities using Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake.
- Design modern data warehouse/lakehouse solutions and ensure data governance practices.
- Develop semantic models and implement data cataloging and lineage tools.
- Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and reusable reporting models.
- Ensure data platform security, resilience, and compliance in a regulated environment.
- Document architecture, data flows, standards, and operational procedures.
- Assess current data platforms and recommend modernization opportunities.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Define and implement enterprise data architecture aligned to business strategy.
- Design and build a single source of truth for critical data domains.
- Architect Microsoft Fabric solutions and integrate Snowflake capabilities.
- Lead data modeling efforts across various model types for analytics.
- Establish data governance standards and implement data quality frameworks.
- Evaluate and administer data governance and cataloging tools.
- Collaborate with teams to define KPIs and reporting requirements.
- Ensure data platform security, performance, and compliance.
- Document architecture, data flows, and operational procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in data architecture or enterprise data platform delivery.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and Power BI.
- Strong SQL and Python skills with visualization package experience.
- Deep understanding of data warehousing, modeling, and governance practices.
- Experience with data governance tools like Microsoft Purview or Atlan.
- Knowledge of data security, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience with Azure data platforms and investment data.
