Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of advanced analytical capabilities in a structured agile environment.
  • Collaborate with operational users and senior engineers to deliver mission-aligned solutions and technical features.
  • Engage in two-week sprint cycles, ensuring production-ready feature delivery from design through deployment.
  • Translate user needs and stakeholder requests into well-scoped engineering tasks and solutions.
  • Support CI/CD pipeline configuration, build scripts, and automated testing for deployment readiness.
  • Develop workflows, dashboards, and AI-enabled features using advanced application layers.
  • Maintain stable operations across deployed capabilities through iterative improvement and defect resolution.
  • Produce clear technical documentation, including configuration notes and sprint artifacts.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide embedded engineering support, delivering mission-aligned capabilities alongside operational users and senior engineers.
  • Perform data integration tasks, including pipeline development and ontology alignment for consistent data interpretation.
  • Develop workflows, applications, and dashboards using advanced tools and methodologies.
  • Participate in solution framing activities, translating user needs into actionable engineering tasks.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline tasks, ensuring deployment readiness and production hardening.
  • Support iterative improvement operations, resolving defects and delivering incremental enhancements.
  • Conduct testing and validation to confirm functionality and data alignment with approved definitions.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to identify and resolve integration issues and blockers.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of software engineering experience; 5 years preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced data platforms and tools, such as Palantir Foundry.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, TypeScript, or Java.
  • Experience in government, defense, or classified environments is preferred.
  • Ability to independently build, test, and deliver production-ready features.
  • Comfortable working in small, fast-moving technical teams.
  • Strong documentation skills, including configuration notes and sprint artifacts.
