Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Process and manage high volumes of construction and development invoices with precision and organization.
- Review invoices for accuracy, approvals, and proper coding before system entry.
- Maintain and update job cost records to ensure accurate expense allocation.
- Coordinate timely vendor payments in compliance with company policies.
- Monitor accounts payable activities related to construction and development projects.
- Assist with job cost reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with project managers and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Support special projects and other accounting functions as part of the finance team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction or real estate development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems like MRI or Yardi.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
