Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage and maintain the operational risk framework, ensuring its integration across all products and strategies.
- Investigate operational risk events, performing root cause analysis and control assessments.
- Conduct deep-dive reviews on significant events, providing recommendations to enhance controls.
- Track external loss events and analyze their applicability to the organization.
- Support risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs) across business units.
- Administer operational risk tools and support system changes implementation.
- Train employees on operational risk database usage and related processes.
- Prepare and present operational risk reports for committees and governance forums.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders, addressing errors and breaches effectively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree with a minimum of five years in operational risk management.
- Experience in asset management or banking industry preferred, with familiarity in global regulations.
- Proficiency in operational risk frameworks and applications like Wolters Kluwer/OneSumX.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly motivated self-starter with attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
- Team player with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
