Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead the development of mechanical systems, mechanisms, and subsystems for advanced autonomous platforms.
- Drive rapid prototyping cycles, including simulation, testing, and iterative design refinement.
- Troubleshoot design challenges, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions meeting operational requirements.
- Support production, integration, and fielded systems with expert engineering knowledge.
- Generate and maintain detailed technical documentation for all development stages.
- Participate in customer demonstrations, field testing, and design reviews to ensure product success.
- Engage with customers to gather feedback and refine engineering solutions effectively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience is required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience designing mechanical systems; 5 years preferred.
- Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks and Microsoft Office applications.
- Hands-on experience with prototype development, system integration, and testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for dynamic operating environments.
- Experience gathering customer requirements and translating them into engineering solutions.
- Eligibility for top security clearance is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer engagements and field testing.
