  • Support field evaluations, customer demonstrations, and design reviews to ensure successful product outcomes.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design packages, test plans, and assembly instructions.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to understand mission requirements and deliver tailored engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead the development of mechanical systems, mechanisms, and subsystems for advanced autonomous platforms.
  • Drive rapid prototyping cycles, including simulation, testing, and iterative design refinement.
  • Troubleshoot design challenges, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions meeting operational requirements.
  • Support production, integration, and fielded systems with expert engineering knowledge.
  • Generate and maintain detailed technical documentation for all development stages.
  • Participate in customer demonstrations, field testing, and design reviews to ensure product success.
  • Engage with customers to gather feedback and refine engineering solutions effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience designing mechanical systems; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Hands-on experience with prototype development, system integration, and testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for dynamic operating environments.
  • Experience gathering customer requirements and translating them into engineering solutions.
  • Eligibility for top security clearance is mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer engagements and field testing.
