Job Description

Overview

  • Coordinate payroll operations for a dynamic organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance in union payroll processes.
  • Process weekly payroll for a large workforce, adhering to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to manage contributions, dues, and leave programs effectively.
  • Maintain readiness for audits by ensuring accurate reporting and documentation across payroll systems.
  • Utilize advanced payroll software, including ADP Workforce Now and Yardi Voyager, for efficient data management.
  • Provide comprehensive support to employees regarding payroll inquiries, taxes, benefits, and verifications.
  • Contribute to workflow enhancements and special projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Work on-site with structured scheduling and occasional remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process weekly union payroll, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage contributions, dues payments, and unemployment programs with precision and efficiency.
  • Maintain payroll records and prepare for audits, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, benefits, and employment verifications.
  • Utilize ADP Workforce Now and Yardi Voyager for payroll processing and reporting tasks.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll operations and enhance workflows.
  • Participate in special projects, demonstrating adaptability and strong comprehension skills.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and tax laws in all processes.

Job Requirements

  • Associate Degree in a relevant field, with 1-3 years of payroll experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and familiarity with Yardi Voyager for payroll processing.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience with union payroll and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to adapt to new systems.
  • Willingness to participate in special projects and adapt to dynamic requirements.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and compliance in payroll audits and reporting tasks.
