Senior Devops Engineer

Overview

• Contribute to the reliability, scalability, and security of AWS-based infrastructure as a Senior DevOps Engineer.
• Collaborate with software engineers and security teams to develop cloud-native platforms supporting mission-critical applications.
• Engage in technical leadership opportunities while remaining hands-on with modern DevOps technologies.
• Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning and operational workflows.
• Support disaster recovery planning, SOC 2 compliance, and cloud security best practices.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Participate in discussions on platform architecture, scalability, and security improvements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools.
• Develop and manage containerized applications on Amazon ECS or Kubernetes platforms.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes.
• Automate provisioning, monitoring, and operational workflows to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and cost optimization of AWS services such as EC2 and RDS.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives through planning and testing.
• Implement cloud security measures and support SOC 2 compliance efforts.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment processes and developer experiences.
• Participate in technical discussions to enhance platform architecture and scalability.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field is required.
• 6-8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Proficiency with AWS services, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Experience with containerized workloads using ECS or Kubernetes platforms.
• Strong skills in building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, high availability, and production operations.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 compliance and implementing cloud security best practices.
• Preferred qualifications include AWS certifications and experience with AI-driven development tools.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
