Hospice Outreach Liaison Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the healthcare community.
- Conduct outreach to promote hospice services and build trust-based connections.
- Drive census growth by increasing awareness and preference for hospice care.
- Collaborate with referral sources to ensure seamless patient transitions to hospice care.
- Support patients and families by providing compassionate guidance on hospice services.
- Participate in community events to enhance visibility and reputation of hospice services.
- Maintain detailed records of outreach activities and referral outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of marketing strategies to achieve organizational goals.
Hospice Outreach Liaison Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum two years of sales/marketing experience in healthcare required.
- Experience in hospice or palliative care marketing is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Prior clinical experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
