Hospice Outreach Liaison Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the healthcare community.
• Conduct outreach to promote hospice services and build trust-based connections.
• Drive census growth by increasing awareness and preference for hospice care.
• Collaborate with referral sources to ensure seamless patient transitions to hospice care.
• Support patients and families by providing compassionate guidance on hospice services.
• Participate in community events to enhance visibility and reputation of hospice services.
• Maintain detailed records of outreach activities and referral outcomes.
• Contribute to the development of marketing strategies to achieve organizational goals.

Hospice Outreach Liaison Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum two years of sales/marketing experience in healthcare required.
• Experience in hospice or palliative care marketing is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Prior clinical experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and meet organizational goals effectively.
