Warehouse Supervisor Overview

• The Warehouse Supervisor oversees overnight warehouse operations, managing a team of 40 employees to ensure productivity and safety.
• This role involves planning, setting goals, and ensuring timely order fulfillment and shipping functions.
• Work hours are from 6 PM to 2 AM, with occasional extensions to 4 AM.
• The position requires hands-on involvement and collaboration with multiple teams to maintain a positive work environment.
• Candidates must be able to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly.

Warehouse Supervisor Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct pre-shift meetings and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for the shift.
• Monitor and report on warehouse productivity and employee attendance daily.
• Perform frequent walk-throughs to ensure safety and adherence to procedures.
• Manage shipping functions, including production standards and timely order fulfillment.
• Investigate and resolve issues such as mispicks and shortages.
• Collaborate with supervisors and teams to maintain a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs and proper use of PPE throughout the warehouse.
• Plan work schedules, set goals, and manage multiple projects effectively.

Warehouse Supervisor Job Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or equivalent education required.
• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience, with 5 years preferred.
• Proficiency in computer literacy and inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs repeatedly.
• Experience working safely in a fast-paced environment with loud machinery.
