Job Description

Administrative Assistant Overview

  • The Administrative Assistant will support the law school department in an onsite, temporary capacity, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
  • Act as the first point of contact at the dean's suite, addressing inquiries and providing assistance to visitors and staff.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and maintain organized records for departmental activities and events.
  • Handle donation processing, including receiving, recording, and depositing contributions accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with students to prepare and distribute thank-you notes for scholarship practices.
  • Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel to manage correspondence, documentation, and data entry tasks.
  • Ensure professional phone etiquette and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the department.

Administrative Assistant Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for correspondence and data management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing records and schedules.
  • Excellent communication skills, including professional phone etiquette and email correspondence.
  • Ability to work onsite during standard business hours (9 AM – 5 PM).
  • Experience in donation processing and handling preferred.
